Munsteiner Garnet Portrait Ring

A truly one-of-a-kind piece that arrives at the intersection of old and new, this stunning ring features a 4.51 tcw "magic eye" pyrope garnet masterfully cut by Atelier Munsteiner with a concentric, lenslike "facet" at the base of the stone. Inspired by the structure of vintage rings,  we used CAD combined with lost wax casting to create the volumetric ring shank in sterling silver.  The top layer and bezel setting are constructed from 22k and sterling silver bimetal to fit the base and stone precisely, resulting in a ring that makes a warm sculptural statement that is also easy to wear. The bright sterling silver ring shank is accented with our signature carved texture, while the 22k bimetal top and bezel sport a hand-hammered finish. The setting of this statement ring measures .8125" in diameter and the curved underside allows the ring to sit just .25" above your finger. The half-round ring shank is .125" wide and the ring is a size 7, with a complimentary sizing available on request.
